Full body skin checks and skin cancer treatment in one place
Cancer Council Australia estimates that two in three Australians will be diagnosed with skin cancer by age 70. Our accredited skin cancer doctors perform full body skin checks and mole checks with dermoscopy, and treat most lesions on site, from biopsy and excision to cryotherapy, topical treatments and skin grafts.
Full body skin check
A head-to-toe examination with a dermatoscope, usually 20 to 30 minutes. Recommended yearly for most adults, more often if you are high risk.

Treatment on site
Biopsies, excisions, cryotherapy, photodynamic therapy and reconstruction with flaps or grafts, performed by your GP in the clinic.

Our cosmetic services are performed by a GP in a medical setting, with a consultation first to check suitability and talk through risks, aftercare and realistic expectations.
Cosmetic treatments are privately billed and are not covered by Medicare. All cosmetic procedures carry risks, and results vary between people. Your doctor will discuss these with you at your consultation.

What is bulk billing?
Bulk billing means your GP bills Medicare directly for your consultation and accepts the Medicare benefit as full payment. You do not pay a gap fee. Who is eligible for bulk billing at Camberwell Health?
Anyone with a current, valid Medicare card is eligible for bulk billed standard consultations. Please bring your Medicare card and any concession card to every appointment. Patients without Medicare pay a private fee, listed on our patient information page.
Are there any services that are not bulk billed?
Yes. Pre-employment and insurance medicals, medical reports, driver's licence medicals and cosmetic treatments such as anti-wrinkle injections, dermal fillers and PRP are privately billed because Medicare does not cover them. Reception will tell you the fee when you book.
How do I book a bulk billing doctor in Camberwell?
